K and I connected shortly after finding out she was pregnant! She had considered hiring a Doula but wasn't sold that this was for her! She had a lot of experience with kids, great with babies and had dreamed of this day to come her whole life….as many do. As her pregnancy progressed she has questions and concerns. Being a first time Mom is exciting but it also brought many fears. As we talked more and created a relationship K decided to hire me….this relationship had also turned into a friendship. We shared each others stories, journeys and up/downs. Simple questions like “when will I feel baby move”, “how will my labour progress” to “will I be a good Mom?”, “Will I be able to breastfeed?”. I may not have been able to give her a concrete answer but in K’s words “you always had a way of making those feelings less scary and comforting”. After baby was born we worked through many hurdles breastfeeding challenges, simplified by patients and in home support. We worked together to establish proper latch, positioning and pumping when needed. This support extended to baby #2, #3 and #4 each being unique and a learning experience for us all!! So exciting!

“Amazing! Meghan was a great support for myself, my husband and our new daughter. She made our speedy labour feel calm and safe. Meghan was encouraging and helpful during prep, birth and postpartum. She was a jack of all trades, from helping with pain management to taking pictures during birth to helping move around towels and pillows ensuring I was comfortable. She was knowledgable and assisted with skin to skin contact and breastfeeding initiation after our daughter was born. At one week postpartum the pandemic began and Meghan made sure to continue helping me virtually and assisted with any questions my husband and I had. We would definitely use her in the future and highly recommend her as a Doula!”

As your little one grows, it’s important to remember that play is one of the most effective and meaningful forms of learning. Hannah incorporates a variety of sensory activities designed to support the development of both fine and gross motor skills while engaging your child’s senses—sight, sound, smell, taste, and movement.
Sensory Development supports the formation of vital neural connections in the brain. These connections lay the foundation for cognitive growth, memory development, and early problem-solving skills.
Motor Skill Development through play with different textures, materials, and objects, infants strengthen their fine motor skills—such as grasping—and their gross motor skills, including crawling, reaching, and splashing.
Language & Communication naturally develops during guided sensory experiences. Hannah introduce new vocabulary, simple sign language, and responsive interactions that help infants associate words and gestures with their meanings.
Creativity & Imagination exploring a wide range of sensory materials encourages curiosity, creativity, and imaginative thinking. These early experiences help foster a lifelong love of learning.
